The Developmental Biology satellite meeting is a natural partner to the main QMB 2009 meeting with its theme of Stem Cells. Because developmental biology in New Zealand is so diverse, each session will be packed with international and national speakers covering a wide range of topics. To foster scientific communication among our students, we are hosting student poster and speaker sessions with generous prizes sponsored by Genetics Otago. We are offering student travel awards to cover registration, conference dinner, and contribute toward accommodation. Interested students should follow the abstract submission instructions for the main meeting. Abstracts are due to Christine Jasoni (christine.jasoni@anatomy.otago.ac.nz) by 10 July 2009, one week prior to the deadline for meeting registration.
