Sunday, 31st August to Tuesday, 2nd SeptemberIn the past few years there has been a growing realisation of the importance of epigenetics in development and human health. Epigenetic phenomena are often defined as a change in phenotype that is inherited either through meiosis or mitosis but does not involve DNA mutation. This conference will include sessions on several epigenetic topics including chromatin and gene transcription, histone variants, regulatory noncoding RNAs, centromeres, histone and DNA modifications in development and human disease. Convenor: Max Scott (M.J.Scott@massey.ac.nz) 2008 EMBO LECTURE by Professor Vincenzo Pirrotta |
