Quest - Queenstown Signal Transduction Meeting

1st Joint Queenstown / University of Otago Virology Meeting, Aug30-Sept 1 2009

The Queenstown Molecular Biology Society and the University of Otago are pleased to announce the 1st joint Virology Satellite meeting from Aug 30th to Sep 1st, 2009.  The meeting will cater for virologists, immunologists and molecular biologists with a broad range of interests in viral infection at the molecular level. Particular themes explored at this years meeting will be;

  • Immunity and virus-host interactions
  • Development of vaccines and viral vectors
  • Molecular biology of gastrointestinal viruses

We invite the submission of abstracts for poster or oral presentations.

Your abstracts should be no more than half an A4 page, 12 point font. When submitting you should indicate whether you are student and whether you wish your work to be considered for an oral or poster presentation.

Student travel awards! Due to generous sponsorship there will be a substantial number of student travel awards available and prizes awarded for best posters and oral presentations.  Awards will reflect the different travel costs incurred by students at various institutions.
