19th annual Queenstown Molecular Biology Meetings 2009 Stem Cells and Cellular Programming. From Microbes to Mammals, Sept 1-3 2009The theme for this years QMB conference is Stem Cells and Cellular Programming and will cover a very wide range of topics under this banner from neuronal stem cells to the evolution of multicellular behaviour. Other topics will include muscle stem cells, reprogramming of mature cells and the use of stem cells in animal cloning. Martin Evans (Nobel Laureate) will give the opening address and there will be a diverse group of speakers from New Zealand, Australia, Asia, the U.S. and Europe. The meeting will be divided into four sessions which will provide a broad overview of the field as well as links to each of the QMB satellite meetings. The four themes are:
