The Queenstown Molecular Biology Meeting remains committed to providing substantial assistance for students and young scientists to attend the meeting, including a number reserved for Australian and other international participants. A limited number of travel assistance bursaries will be available to students and young scientist (3 years or less since graduating with a PhD). These are provided thanks to the generous support of our sponsors (including the Biochemical Journal). If you wish to be considered for a travel award you MUST apply when registering and you MUST be submitting an abstract. If the number of applicants exceeds the funds available the bursaries will be awarded on the scientific merit of the study being presented as judged by the program committee. The amount awarded will range from $250-$500 and will be dependent on the distance the recipient travels to attend the meeting. Please apply at time of abstract submission stating clearly why you need the travel support. In addition there will be a number of prizes for the best presentations by students and post doctoral fellows. These are sponsored by the Biochemical Journal, ERMA and MoRST.
